Ogechi Belonwu Nwankwo brings years of senior experience to her leadership at Shanghai Engineering Works and Industrial Limited Legal Unit and Human resources organization. Mrs Ogechi Nwankwo has extensive legal, compliance and corporate governance experience. She is responsible for shaping the legal strategy of the company and overseeing the Company’s Social Environmental, Governance strategy and commercial matters.  Mrs Ogechi Nwankwo is responsible for ensuring that the business of the Company is conducted with high ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Mrs Ogechi Nwankwo has a passion for people and corporate values; as the Human Resource manager, she is responsible for the talent, recruiting, compensation, benefits, employee relations and all aspects of the human resource agenda for the Company. She is strongly focused on ensuring a workplace where each and every employee is respected, accepted and understood. She has developed the company’s people and organization strategy by building a culture that drives innovation and productivity to support the Company’s business strategy. The HR unit is focused on delivering value creation through the company’s culture [Integrity, professionalism and proactivity], “we attract great and principled people and give them early and increasing responsibility”. Prior to joining the company, Mrs Ogechi Nwankwo served as a chief operating officer, legal officer, Head of sales and Human Resource manager in various companies. Ogechi holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Birmingham United Kingdom and a Master’s degree in International and commercial Law from University of Kent, United Kingdom.
